Frequently asked questions

GC-30B Kerosene, Mixed-Fuel, & Coolants Caddy What type of fluid can be used with the Blue GC-Series?

Blue is a Universal "Catchall" color for several fluids. It can be used with Industrial Coolants in factories, Engine Coolant or Windshield Wiper Fluids in automotive service shops, Kerosene and Light Duty Oil in a multiple markets, and it can be use for Mixed Fuel as well.

How do you transport the GC-Series Gas Caddy?

The GC-Series has two rear tires and two front aluminum feet. To move, simply tilt the tank back and roll.

How does the pump work on the GC Series Gas Caddy?

The GP-1 or HPRP-1 pump are manual hand crank rotary pumps. They are both bi-directional; which means when you crank the handle clock-wise fuel is pumped from the tank and out the hose. When you crank the pump counter-clockwise, you can siphon fuel and it's pulled back into the tank. This makes an easy process t reclaim fuel prior to servicing equipment.

Why is the fuel hose transparent and is it grounded?

Yes the CH-Series fuel is hose has an internal braided ground wire. This prevents static charge from developing while fuel flows from the tank to the nozzle. The hose is intentionally transparent so you can visually see the fuel flowing through the hose and helps ensure you return fuel back to the tank when done using it.

Is this product actually made in the U.S.A.?

Yes. The GC Series is 100% made in America by Americans. HMC bends the steel, welds the tank, and pressure tests the finished product. The pump's aluminum housing is cast in Wisconsin and CNC machined by HMC. The hose is made in the U.S.A. and assembled by HMC.
